- Avoid loading up on foods that are low in fiber and can get your gut stuck, like refined white bread, pastas, and pastries. Choose whole-grain and whole-wheat options whenever possible.
- Spend 10 minutes on your back and bring your legs to your chest one at a time, as if you’re cycling.
- Go for an hour-long walk at a fast pace, then lie down for an hour.
- Have 3 ounces of dark chocolate (choose a bar that has at least 65% cacao), and chase it with a hot cup of black coffee or an 8-ounce glass of warm water. You need to sit still for at least one hour afterward for this remedy to work. (If you’re on vacation, now’s a good time to skip the museum tour.)
- Pour yourself a shot or two of brandy in a warm glass. Slowly eat five prunes (unsulfured is best) and in between bites, sip the warm brandy. Again, you’ll need to sit still for an hour afterward.(health)

Purdue University study finds that people who snacked on 500 extra calories worth of cocktail peanuts every day for 8 weeks didn’t gain weight. Researchers assumes that the healthy fats, fiber, and protein in nuts are so filling that study volunteers ate less at other times of the day without even realizing it. Crunchy peanuts also raised metabolism. Study author Richard Mattes, PhD, RD. says that Evidence suggests that consumption of walnuts, pecans, and almonds also has little impact on body weight. How to Eating Out Without Getting Fat
Here are few tips to keep your weight balance when you eating out.
Do a late lunch. Ask if you can get a smaller lunch-size portion at dinnertime. Or, choose an appetizer as your meal; the portions are more likely single-serving-sized.
Get it to go. If you order a full entree, ask for a to-go box along with your meal, then package up at least half of it before you take the first bite. Or, ask the waiter to have the kitchen box up half of your meal before it’s even served to you.
Skip the fat. Ask for foods to be grilled, steamed or broiled instead of sautéed or fried. Or, request that your entrée be cooked “dry,” which is restaurant-speak for no added oil or butter.
